Payment is required at the time services are performed to help reduce billing and accounting costs. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. Other financial arrangements are available when extensive dental care is necessary, or when the dentistry performed exceeds your budget or insurance benefits. We will be sensitive to your financial circumstances within the framework of sound business practices.

Insurance

Dental Insurance is different from Medical Insurance. Many patients aren’t familiar with the specifics of their dental insurance benefits. Your dental benefits are based on the agreement your employer negotiated with your insurance carrier. Please review the insurance benefit booklet provided by your employer to better understand the benefits they make available as part of your insurance coverage. The patient payment portion covered for procedures varies depending on the coverage provided by your employer.

An estimate of the amount covered by your insurance company will be provided at the time of your treatment, based on the information they provide to us. The estimate is never a guarantee of benefits or the amount that will be paid. We will file all insurance claims as a courtesy to our patients. This does not however, transfer the responsibility of your financial obligation to the insurance company. If the amount paid by the insurance company is less than or greater than the estimate, then you will be billed the difference or issued a credit on the account in the event of an overpayment. Please let us know if you have questions about our financial policies or financing options prior to your treatment.

To My Patients:

I want to let all my patients be aware of our practice guidelines regarding missed or broken appointments.  You will receive a courtesy text reminder from our office 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment.  It is with concern that with busier lives and schedules today that we are all dealing with, that this notice will give you time to make any necessary changes.  Your oral health is of utmost concern to us.  Please understand that this time is reserved especially for you.  We do understand that emergencies occur.

Our guidelines are as follows:

  1. Following a courtesy text of 48 hours and you do not keep your scheduled appointment, a fee of $25 per unit of time scheduled will be charged to you.  For example, an hour would be charged $100.00.
  2. If you cancel or reschedule your appointment less than 48 hours in advance, a fee of $25 per unit of time scheduled will be charged to you.
  3. Pre-paid scheduled appointments for large cases will forfeit $25 per unit of time scheduled.
